What are the benefits of Denplan?

Denplan helps you spread the cost of dental treatments that aren’t available via the NHS.

Additional costs will only be incurred for any lab charges, for example, costs to make prosthesis but will be charged at a discounted rate. This can be discussed in more detail with your treating dentist.

How do I sign up to Denplan?

First you will need to book an initial check up with one of our dentists. We will then establish whether any treatment is needed before we advise you or your family to join Denplan. We will then discuss your future oral health needs and the Denplan payment plan options available to you based on both your dental needs and budget. This is offered to all private patients but is not available for NHS treatments.

How much does Denplan cost?

There is no standard cost as your dentist will determine your fee category based on Denplan’s Oral Health Assessment and scoring system. This can be discussed in more detail following on from your initial check-up.

You can choose to pay your subscription monthly by Direct Debit, or annually in advance, either by Direct Debit, cheque or by credit/ debit card to Denplan.

What does Denplan cover?

Cover depends on the payment plan you require. However, all plans include check-ups, hygienist appointments, 24 hour Emergency Cover (at home and abroad), white fillings, root canal treatment and extractions. An extensive list of treatments available under Denplan can be discussed with your dentist.

What isn’t covered by Denplan?

This will depend on the level of cover your payment plan affords. However, all plans do not cover laboratory fees and prescriptions, referral to a specialist and specialist treatment, orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment and sedation fees.
